Jennifer Smith

I'm a registered speech-language pathologist with over 22 years of experience providing assessment and therapy to school-aged children. My practice focuses on the assessment and treatment of speech sound disorders, including articulation, phonology and motor speech disorders.

I graduated from Syracuse University with a Master of Science degree in speech-language pathology, and I am registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).

During my 22 years working with the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) in their School-based Rehabilitation Services program, I assessed and treated articulation, motor speech, stuttering, voice and resonance disorders in schools throughout Ottawa.

After more than two decades in school-based practice, I am excited to bring my experience to my private practice where I can provide more personalized care and dedicate more time to each child and family. Along with my education and experience, I have a special interest in treating speech sound disorders and helping children build clear and confident speech skills.

I believe that therapy works best when children feel comfortable, supported and engaged. I strive to make therapy a safe, fun and engaging experience!
